Your birth

December 9th, 2013 you were born. You were born at 2:01 p.m. You weighed 8lbs. 8 ounces. You were 19.75 inches long.
You are perfect! The most beautiful baby ever. You had blue eyes at birth and dark brown hair.

You were sunny side up during my 36 hours of labor. Then at the last minute you turned the right way, and i pushed for an hour and a half to get you out. It took lots of work Wyatt. I could not have done it drug free wighout the strong support team of your dad and nana and the nurse.

Your dad was 110 percent there for me. Not all men are like that Wyatt. We are lucky to have him. I look back on your birthday as a day of hard work and success, and a day of labor and love. Your birthday was a day of receiving the best gift in the world that i had worked hard to protect for 10 long months.

The day came and went, but it is a day i will always remeber as a fantastic day.

Thank you Wyatt for being so good to me.

Contractions

Okay Wyatt, are we ready now? We are only 5 to 9 days late so far. I started having mild contractions Friday the 6th at the movie theatres watching Last Vegas.

Then your nana Laura and your dad and i have been waiting to see what happens. This morning on Sunday December 8 th at around 1:30 a.m. The contractions have become more painful. Coming now about 7 minutes apart. I am writing this in between contractions. Going to take a hot bath now to ease some back pain.

Hopefully today is your day baby boy! If not tomorrow will work too. 😀

December 4th

Wyatt... You are once again teaching me patience. I guess it is only one day after your official due date. I am so curious about your upcoming birth. I wonder when and where i will go into labor, if my water will break naturally or not? I wonder  what your birthdate is going to be? I have tried all the self inducing methods in the book to bring you out, but no luck. It's okay, i am trying to enjoy my last few days of sleeping in and taking naps not worrying about you every 5 minutes. Your dad has said twice now that he is also very ready for you. We love you and are very excited to meet you, even if you are staying in my cozy belly longer than we thought you would.

November 29th and you are due

Wyatt, today is one of your due dates. An ultrasound said today was your estimated date of delivery. Your EDD date. I am tired of being pregnant little man. My doctor is going by December 3, 2013 as the official due date. That is coming up. I hope you are born soon. The anxiety is killing me, almost. Can not wait to meet you son! Your nana and grandpa are driving up from California today to hopefully meet you very soon too. But i get the feeling you are not wanting to come out for a while yet. Grandpa kim might miss meeting you because he will have to go back to work after about a week.

Your dad and i have been going on walks trying to help you move down. We are both stubborn, so we know it would only be natural that you are too. ;-)

We had some pictures taken. I hope you can enjoy looking at them one day. Love you baby boy. By the way your nickname has come. Boulder... It feels like i am carrying around a boulder. Your dad likes it too. So when i tell you to come here you little boulder, you better listen. :-)

Love ya, see you very soon little man.

38 weeks

I am now sitting in a recliner thinking about falling asleep in it because I am having bad acid reflux at night. I hope sitting up will take pressure off my spine and help me to breathe better.

Progressing

Wyatt! We are progressing to see you soon! I think you will make your entrance into the world before Thanksgiving.

37 weeks

Here we go little man! Your birthday is just around the corner. So you know most pregnancies go for as long as 40 weeks. Remember that when you have children. So, we should be meeting you very soon! Braxton Hicks contractions are in full swing.

Your bedroom is pretty much complete! Your dad just has to hang up the smoke detector and carbon monoxide detectors. I have to scrub out a stain in your carpet. Your first pets, Chandon and Cerveza, our kitties like to come into your room and check things out but we do not let them sit in your rocking chair or jump in your crib. We want you to mark your own scent before they get a chance too.

Doctor says you are about 6 pounds now. That was her guess. As I write this I feel you moving around in my belly, pushing on my bladder. I can't wait to meet you!

We are half way packed for the hospital, still have some more to do. I quit my job this week so that I can prepare for your arrival and raise you right!

With all my love little man...see you soon! Love Mom.
